At Cherry On Top, we believe remodeling is about more than cabinet styles or tile patterns—it’s about trust, communication and showing up for people in intangible ways. The way we operate was built in response to a hard truth: Too many contractors cut corners, overpromise and underdeliver and leave clients with nowhere to turn. Our founder, Clay, saw it firsthand early in his career, when he was encouraged by leadership to rush jobs and sacrifice quality. That experience stuck with him—and when it was time to start his own business, he set out to build something better.

It was such a relief to work with Clay and his team after we had not been receiving callbacks from other contractors for so long. They did an array of projects for us so we no longer have to look at half-finished issues all over the house. Tiled up a hole in the shower left by a plumber, poured concrete to fill a hole in our basement, patched carpet/trim/wall where we had removed a built-in, etc. And gave us some quotes for future projects, which is really helpful. They run a tight ship and we would recommend them (and already have!). Extra props to Lewis who did most of our house and was very sweet with our large-ish dogs.

Clay installed kick out flashing in a roof corner so the water would drain down the gutter instead of over the gutter. He also cut back a piece of siding that was cracking, caulked it and painted it. He sealed several cracks on a stone column and fixed a closet bracket.
